Hi Ho, Off to London I Go

I've been scribbling notes so I don't forget what I've been doing all week, but right now I am attempting to gather all my items together and pack my backpacks(s) since I leave for the airport in mere hours.

woop, that reminds me -- I have to book the taxi.

MaryAnn's laptop survived the sparking and Sally arrived after many a Heathrow snafu, but I'll detail about that later.

London has been canceling flights for the past three days, so we are crossing our fingers and toes that we get out of here tomorrow. Our flight is one of the first ones in the morning, so we've got a slim chance of making it. Train wouldn't really be an option considering the highway robbery with a last-minute booking price of over $200 each, so most likely if the airline cancels our flight we'll just rent a car and drive down to London. If there are any cars available, that is. Oi, this has the makings of an adventure.

Like most of you, I probably won't be online until the 27th.
